Governors' Information

CPu Head

Cassie Puplett - Headteacher Governor

I have been at Lingfield for nearly 15 years starting as Early Years leader in Reception before moving into senior leadership. I have taught in three schools across Kent, Surrey and Croydon. I have a passion for using evidence informed practice in the classroom and making learning memorable. I have two children, Izzy and Finn, and love gardening, eating delicious food and going to the gym - sometimes!

 Natalie Hadleigh - Staff Governor

I am currently the SENCO at Lingfield Primary School having worked here for 17 years in various roles from Class Teacher for Year 1 through to Year 6 to Specialist Art Teacher. I have an interest in inclusion  - promoting equal opportunities and access to education for all students. I have two children who have now both moved on from Lingfield Primary School into secondary education. I enjoy walking my dog, cooking, reading and travelling.

Caroline Henry - Co-Chair of Governors/Co-Opted Governor - Ofsted Lead

I have worked as a Project Manager in financial services for over 20 years, specialising in operations and regulation. Both my children have attended Lingfield Primary and thrived. One has now moved on to secondary and the other still attends our lovely school. I joined the governing body as a parent governor in February 2013 and, after a period as joint Chair in 2019, I took up the role of sole Chair of the Governing Body in 2020. I work closely with the other governors, Cass Puplett and the school leadership team to steer the school strategically with our pupils and wider school community at the heart of everything we do.

Sue Darney - Co-opted Governor - Curriculum

My professional life was spent in Wales, teaching English to G.C.S.E. level. I was also a Head of Year in a large comprehensive school which meant that I monitored the academic progress as well as overseeing the pastoral needs of the pupils in my year group. I belong to a number of organisations in the area and enjoy many aspects of the Arts. I am a volunteer at Lingfield Primary School; listening to children read. My grandson is a pupil at the school./p>

I have a child in year 3 and another one in the nursery. Following an early career in biology and finance, I have worked in education for over 20 years. I have worked as a Head of Year, SENDCO and Assistant Headteacher before moving to Deputy Headteacher and Designated Safeguarding Lead at a secondary comprehensive. In April of 2021, I became Principal at Carew Academy, a school for students with moderate learning difficulties. In my spare time, I enjoy sports, bushcraft and running woodland skills courses for students with behavioural difficulties.

Holly Barradell - Co-opted Governor - Curriculum

I work as a secondary Assistant Headteacher, and my son currently attends the school. I have a passion for high quality arts and cultural access for young people. I have an MA in Education and a fellowship with the Chartered College of Teaching. I have also worked as an examiner, moderator and assessment specialist across exam boards and have governed at a Junior School where I was Vice-Chair with a responsibility for safeguarding. I hope my experience will support us with preparing for Ofsted, reviewing the curriculum and strengthening secondary transition.

Parent Governor - elected by parents

I am a working mum of two boys who both attend Lingfield Primary School. I have been a parent governor since 2018 leading on resources which includes budgeting, health and safety, GDPR and the school maintenance plan. These all fit well within my skill set and complement my role at SES Water as the Head of Corporate Services.

I have spent the majority of my career working in children's services, including several years as a Support Worker based in South London working to safeguard and protect children, young people and their families.
