School Meals
We consider lunchtime to be an important part of the school day. Children can choose between a packed lunch or a school dinner, freshly prepared each day in the school kitchen.
Meals cost £2.75 per day
Please order and make payment via your School Gateway account.
Please note that all lunches need to be paid for in advance or on the morning of the meal.
Meals can also be pre-ordered via the School Gateway app; this helps you to know what your child is due to have form lunch.
Children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 receive government funded meals, known as Universal Free School Meals (UFSM).
Our school meals are provided by Radish Catering. Each dish is prepared on site using fresh, local produce. Our home cooked meals meet the required national nutritional standards. Radish Catering has recently retained its 5 star rating from Environmental Health.
If your child is allergic to any food or has particular dislikes, please speak to a member of the office staff who will make sure that the details are passed onto the kitchen who will do their best to accommodate any requests.
We are a nut-free school because we have both staff and children with severe allergies.
Throughout the year, we have a number of special meal days linked to our Contexts for Learning in addition to favourites such as Christmas Lunch.
